Jim Cramer (k?) knockoff...

He really didn't say a damn thing but tried to parrot what has gone before. Stupid analyst. But then you tell me. Just what will the market do first week in January? Based on the state of middle America and housing and just how badly people are really hurting going into 2012 I'd say we about to see a market crash in 2012. Topping formations in the S&P and DJIA and rounded bottom in the SDS. But based on Obama's puppet holders manipulating the stock market for his reelection I'd say the market will continue up. Small middle America has been 'out' of the market for some time...so will media heads and investment bankers buy the market up? Who really knows. All I know is that all of my friends are hurting big time and unless the govt and the banks do something very radically positive for housing things will only get worse for the average American. We have a do nothing congress in place for another year and a president who is daily hated more and more unless one works for the govt or is so far left his steering wheel is stuck. I've said this from the beginning years ago on WSW, housing took us into this muck and now because of what the govt and the banks have done they must together pull housing out of this muck.

When one walks through "muck" in hip boots and believe me I've walked miles in those boots through the bogs... and when one pulls a stuck boot up and out of the muck it makes a "sucking" almost vaginal sucking sound...Unless our govt and the banks institute a program to buy down all these upside down mortgages to the values the banks have taken housing to..or unless the govt does this plus a program to refinance with no appraisal necessary for the entire indebtedness including 1st TDs and Helocs down to a 30 yr fixed mortgage rate such as 100 bp's above the 10 yr treasury then I dont see us coming out of this depression. You think we can simply wait this thing out? You are crazy...We have been screwed by our govt and the banks who have received all these tarp funds and then who have dumped and avoided county transfer taxes and comps going fwd.....and somebody...I sure as hell dont know who since nobody seems to be addressing this gorilla in the room...needs to do something about it.

Meanwhile, lets just see what happens 1st week in January. There are two scenarios re: the Jan effect. First is the fist week and second is the month....I look at the SPX and SDS and favor the latter...However we could also see a twist in the socalled January effect with the markets starting off strong taking SDS down to the 15/16 level and then with this short etf rebounding up to triple digits over the course of 2012 as the stock markets would collapse. I'd hope this would not occur only because I try to be optimistic for my country and my individual lifestyle in 2012.

One thing you know for sure

One thing you know for sure the banks that funded Obama and in the Republican nomination are throwing all of their money at Romney will have NOTHING to worry about.

Seriously, I'd just keep my eye on the charts and invest with them. We are in a global bear market, US is doing the best, but the global problems will at least bring a correction. Then a nice bottom.

Yep it's all due to the housing bubble. That debt went to banks and they passed it on to governments, hence the sovereign debt crisis in Europe. Risk off fear, but once that crisis reaches its end look for inflation to be the trend I'd think.

Yep

Agree with that Mike. Romney is the 'toe-cutter.' With all the support he would almost be a certainty wouldn't he? I read Nadler's Kitco 2011 - "30-year US Treasury bonds were the king of 2011" he stated. Am I stupid or was it the Fed who bought most of the debt? There will never be another QE announcement because QE is now perpetual. They have not stopped the press and the US debt ceiling was raised by more than a trillion after they came within a billion of 'defaulting' in August. What a difference a 'switch' makes.

I am sticking with the 'best of the best' - Jim Willie and the 'Golden Jackass.' There are none better in the USA than Jimbo. He has got the right info yet even what he knows can't change what bullshit investors believe in the dollar. Inflation will be king of 2012 and it will start with oil. They will do it by short supply with the Iranian affairs and then drive the price beyond 150 USD per barrel.

If gold rises silver will follow. If gold falls, silver should remain more stable than gold and not fall through support levels at 26. It is so cheap and has such a small market now that it is sure to attract money flows and outperform gold in 2012. And remember the Sprott factor is coming to a movie house near you soon!

It's not just the banks

He also has a powerful religious organization backing him. Deep, deep pockets, and they are wanting to make a statement.

The perception of cult or Christian is subtle. Many Christians of today are accepting Romney as "Christian." Even some grass roots conservative groups. All because of the application of money. A huge sway here has occurred.

He does wear "holy" underwear. Thus, the buttoned down sleeves and the close closing of his shirts at the neck.---His position in the church requires this and multiple other non-Scriptural things. Alll jot and tittle added at a much later date. So, Mr. Romney meets my definition of a cult member.

I really don't think most Mormon's know their own religion. The hierarchy knows it inside and out. This includes Mr. Romney.

It's unbelievable to me we would accept this kind of person as even a candidate for President. Of course, I had the same thoughts about Obama. Money.

Like marriage today, the blending of what has always been, and new, is smoke filled. Everybody else is doing it, so that makes it okay.

Keep repeating something enough times and it becomes truth to sheep. Don't bother to question, just follow./jimo

Very interesting Jimo

I have info on that cult and some other former leaders who were said to be deep in it - Bill and Hillary - plus other CFR members. I was somewhat surprised when I considered this connection. I never heard of Mormonism being at the top of the wickedness tree before. I kind of try to stay clear of looking too far down the dark barrel of conspiracy as it can get pretty depressing but there are definitely some weird goings on at times. I am with you all the way on branding it a cult religion. A Texan colleague here in China called Romney an extreme conservative - is that correct?

http://www.lovethetruth.com/books/13_bloodlines/mormon_leadership.htm

For those who might like to follow it up, the above link can be accepted or rejected. It is up to the individual to decide how much of it is truth or not. I don't think Hillary ever really liked Obama but perhaps she will love Romney. A lot of folk are blind to follow any media report and believe everything they read as you stated. Romney will be bad news for the USA. I would be concerned for Ron Paul if he got in maybe some radical might try to pop him off. When will the USA wake up from this slumber? They are still the greatest nation but imagine how much greater they can be with freedom from these turkey leaders that keep popping up.

MY view

Mormonism has a very strong belief in family values, in being prepared. The Mormon people are GOOD people, generally adhering to conservative fundamental principals. But, badly uninformed about what they are members of. Secretive, the members that know, the hierarchy, about dispensing their own beliefs to their masses. I think many/most would run in disbelief.

Governor Romney was elected to one of the most liberal states in the nation. To do that, huge compromise of his basic religious beliefs did occur. I wouldn't define Romney as conservative anything. I would call him a compromiser. Wishy-washy. Willing to say whatever it takes to win.

He is a liberal in my book, and the worst kind---unwilling to reveal himself./jimo

Thanks

Yeah I knew some beautiful Mormon girls back home and one was even a girlfriend when I was a teen. Nice people many of them.
