Yesterday we saw a big move in gold and gold stocks as the metal rallied over 25 points despite all of the talk and predictions for a huge dollar rally that is supposed to cause a stock market crash. I told you last week that now is the time to buy stocks and not sell them and I believe that even more now.

Last March gold stock expert Dave Skarica and I put on an investment conference/seminar for our subscribers in the Bahamas were he lives. Over 50 people came from all over the world and the event was a huge success. In fact it was so big that we are getting together to plan one with even more speakers and an extra day.

This morning gold is up on news that China is considering buying gold directly from the IMF. The IMF regularly sells gold and the news always seems to spark fear in gold bugs that gold prices will drop. Over the years I've seen this happen a few times a year, sometimes leading to one day drops in gold, but not once has IMF gold sales ended an upward trend in gold prices.

I don't know if you remember but a week ago I sent you a post saying gold was breaking 1000 an ounce and about to begin another leg of its bull run. Well as I type this its now trading at 1020 an ounce and the gold stocks are going nuts. Of course it may not open there, but that is where it is at 6:00 AM EST.

Gold is clearly headed to 1000 an ounce now. Last week we saw a key breakout in both gold and gold stocks, with many gold stocks up over 15% in just the past two trading sessions. The HUI and XAU both closed at new highs for the year last week too.

In a rare interview on CNBC Wall Street veteran Joe Granville said we are in a bull market that he thinks will last for two years. He also talked about when he thinks it is best to sell and what you should do as an investor. He also said is out of gold, but will buy back in if it goes through 1000 - which I think it can really do.

It can be hard making a few extra dollars these days. Believe it or not, there is a specific way that you can definitely get rich with. Buying gold stocks for investing is a safer investment than the stock market is. People all over the world are getting involved with gold and making huge amounts of money.

There are precious metal markets that also sell gold as a commodity, and of course, people invest in gold to try to make profits. Some people enjoy investing for short-term goal profits, and others enjoy holding onto it for a longer period of time to make a bigger profit.

Last Sunday I told you I thought the market would rally at the start of earnings season. And boy did we get a rally. It looks like it is going to go up more.

A proposed merger between Xstrata and Anglo American came to an end yesterday. Xstrata put the deal on the table and offered it to Anglo, but the latter company turned down the offer. It did so under heat from Africa.
