As for the market today is is going to be a key day and what will happen today should set the tone for the next few weeks. If the market rallies today after the Fed meeting then I think the bulls will remain in control next month. We should even see the S&P 500 get to the 1450 area. But if the market falls hard today and tomorrow then the strength of the bulls will be put in question.

We're also seeing a sharp correction in gold stocks. They are extremely oversold now. They do look like they could go a bit lower, but I think they are providing another buy point. There are actually a few gold stocks holding up during this correction. The one I recommended on the website as my top pick of the year a few years ago is holding up like a rock so all isn't bad in the metals arena. But it will take a few months before we know if gold is going to breakout and run into the end of the year or if we are just seeing a summer top.
