Tim specials in shorting penny stocks. He looks for stocks that are promoted by penny stock promoters and then shorts them. You know pump and dumps where the insiders and their cronies push a stock up that is full of hot air.

I read Tim's book a few years ago and started to follow his website. It's funny, because I noticed the penny stock he gives as an example in this interview a few days ago and considered shorting it. I didn't know he was going to mention it. I just bought a subscription to Tim's alerts service to see the stocks he follows to try my hand at shorting some of them.
